LANGUAGE -BASED APPROCH IN TEACHING ENGLISH AND THE GRAMMATICAL COMPETENCE AMONG GRADE 9 STUDENTS

This study determined if a language-based approach using literary texts in teaching English will improve the grammatical competence of Grade 9 students verbals. To generate data on level proficiency and competence, pretest post-test were used to assess learning outcome subjects study.
